My name is Barbara, I've been in home/health for 21 yrs.. I love this line of work.. there is nothing else I see myself doing is to care for others.. I have cared for people with all types of illnesses.. I cared for people with all types of disabilities too.. caring for people that are bed bound an in wheelchair or even mobile as well.. caring for others with cancer parkinson's diabetes dementia .. transportation to appointments.. other duties such as bathing bed bathing house hold chores, and know how to empty Foley catheter change a ostemy bag check glucose , blood pressure.. an of course I do cook an do laundry.. just making the people I care for comfortable an happy so family members can feel better that there loved ones are in good hands..
