My name is Barbara A., I was born in Opole, Poland, where I completed my elementary, middle, and high school education. From 1984 to 1990, I completed a study in the field of education, child psychology, and protective-educational pedagogy at Institute of Education, The Silesian Rebels Pedagogical University of Opole, Poland. The study that I ended with was a master's degree in education in 1990. I enjoy working with children, I have my own 9-year-old son and 12 years of experience in child care as a nanny in United States. In Poland, I was teaching a toddler class for two years, during this time, I established very strong interests working with preschool children. That kind of work gives me a lot of satisfaction, what can be more awarding then watching kids learning, growing and developing new skills in all different areas of their personalities. I love to watch kids to build their confidence and self-esteem, their individual characters. My motto when working with kids is "learning trough play, developing appropriate skills, and having fun." Teachers and care providers should be role models in creating kids personalities and help them to grow their potential, physical, mental, and emotional aspects.
