Due to my area of study in college, I am extremely familiar with special needs children and very comfortable working with them. I have experience working one on one with; a 2-year-old moderately autistic 5-year-old, a severely autistic, non-verbal 13-year-old, as well as 2 children with severe cerebral palsy, who were non-verbal and immobile. I have a patience and understanding that is not too common to find. I am level-headed in emergency situations and have basic first aid and emergency care skills. I am familiar with a variety of seizure disorders, as well as cognitive development disorders. Again, I feel that personal interviews are the best way to get to know me and my personal background. I am not a certified special-needs care provider by the state.
