About Bailey

Throughout my high school and undergraduate career, I have continuously met and cared for people of every age. I began working as a CNA at the age of 17 where I cared for elderly residents requiring long-term around the clock care. At 19, I began working on the Cardiovascular Surgery unit at Saint Mary's Hospital, Madison. After I turned 21, I transitioned from this role and began working as an Emergency Services Technician in Saint Mary's Emergency Department, a Level II Trauma Center. Following my graduation from UW-Madison, I received my B. S. in Biology and Global Health with a certificate in Science Communication. I currently work full-time at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in a research lab studying burn injuries and wound healing. Due to scheduling, I no longer work in patient care settings, however I enjoy babysitting and spending time with loved ones during my evenings or weekends.
