We were super excited to meet Aysha and she seemed like she would be a great fit! She asked to discuss everything over the phone, was attentive, thorough and seemed very eager to start. We were supposed to set up a time for her to come meet our children and then we didn’t hear from her for three days. Meanwhile, I had been reaching out everyday to see what days would work and to see if she was ok! She finally responded saying she had a ruff couple days. I let it go thinking maybe she was sick. We then arranged a time to meet and shortly after she said she wasn’t feeling well. Again, we rescheduled. Monday came around and we were finally going to meet and I had still not heard from her. I reached out mid day to confirm we were still on for today. She said that she should’ve reached out and that her appointment would be done around 2-2:30. I said we should be home by 3:00 but I would confirm with her when we got home. I texted her that we were home around 2:30 and no response. Around 2:40 I asked if she could still come at 3:00, no response. I finally messaged her around 5:45pm saying that we were going to have to go another route… still no response. Her lack of follow through/not responding and rescheduling multiple times, followed by completely not responding or showing up.. made it very hard to feel confident in her ability to communicate and be a reliable nanny to our children. I would not recommend her.
