I can't wait to get started! I have 3 years of experience tutoring students, at elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. I have a BS in Economics - I know, I know! It's no surprise then that my main subject areas are math and economics, but I also have experience with elementary school English Language Arts. I believe education is not just about getting grades, but about learning how to learn. I'm a fan of the Socratic method - I ask leading questions to help the student get to thinking in the right direction - but I am also aware that this method isn't the right choice in all circumstances, so I adapt to meet the student where their needs are. I've had great success in the past, with my past students not only passing their classes but achieving As and high Bs, and going on to success in other areas as well.
