About Ayena

I've always had a passion for caring for children. Growing up as the eldest daughter and cousin, I was surrounded by them and inspired to have my own someday. I have two years of experience caring for children, and I'm comfortable caring for one to four children. As a patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable caregiver, I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, play, and grow. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead. I believe in open communication and follow the parents' preferred method to discuss their child's day or any issues that may arise. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I also have experience in cooking and meal preparation and am willing to help with these tasks! I am a current Texas A&M student studying psychology and have completed coursework in early child development.
