About Aya

My great grandma lived in our multi-generational home while I was growing up. She had Alzheimer's and limited mobility. I grew up helping change her diapers and linens and getting her in and out of bed. I loved listening to her stories and hearing her sing. She is the reason why I learned to plan the violin, and later this became very important, as I met my future husband in a music theory class at school. I don't have any specific training, but I have worked with special needs children and have a heart for also working with the elderly. I no longer have parents or grandparents, so I'd love to help care for someone else's.
