Hi! My name is Ayana and I'm an LPN with 2 years experience working in elderly healthcare services with a 12+ year background in mental healthcare of all ages. I have a bachelors degree as well as a Masters degree in Psychology and I am currently working on a bachelor's degree in nursing. I have a passion for working with the elderly population and even assist in taking care of my own 90+ year old great grandmother when I can. As many know, working with elderly individuals, those that struggle with mental health issues, and working in healthcare in general takes a great deal of kindness, compassion, and patience. Although I am a newer nurse, I have been in facilities caring for as many as 25 elderly patients at a time. I would love to continue working with families in helping to care for their loved ones on a more flexible schedule while I continue to build my education in healthcare.
