Hello Fam My name is Ayabulela (Aya) and I'm 29 years old. My first experience caring for those with Special Needs was with my niece. She was born deaf and that gave me a driving force to pursue my studies in Social Work. I'm an advocate for vulnerable groups (children, persons living with disabilities and seniors) and it gives a great pleasure to help in times of need. I had an opportunity to be a Special Needs Au pair to a beautiful 15-year-old girl, for a period of 2 years. The whole experience broadened my understanding of the Spectrum and made me aware of possible interventions and different therapeutic measures involved. It also taught me compassion, empathy, patience and being a good teammate. I really hope you would choose me to be your aide; I like helping and bringing sense of relief to families and also learn during that process.
