About Axandra

Hi my name is Axandra and I'm from Napa Valley, California. I have 15+ years of childcare experience. I'm new to Care. com but am established on other sites with 20+ five star reviews. From preschool teacher's assistant to junior camp counselor, I have had the opportunity to learn and grow with kids of all ages and backgrounds. I have taken care of newborns, toddlers, and children up to 12. During my college studies, I took an early childhood development (ECE) course because I was interested in learning about the psychology of childhood development. This course opened my eyes to the complexities of childhood growth. I am truly passionate about cooking and nutrition. I pride myself on my ability to engage children with the process of making a home cooked meal. I think that if children were to learn where their food comes from and how it affects their health and the health of the environment at a young age, the world would be a better place!
