As a person with ADHD I am able to understand difficulties children with learning disabilities may not be able to communicate to someone whom does not think the same way as the individual. Summer of 2018 and 2019 I was a nanny for a 8-year-old boy going into third grade. He came to me with a first grade reading and math level. By the end of the first summer he was at a fifth grade reading/math level. By the end of the second summer (going into fifth grade) he was reading full chapter books.
