About Avery

Hello! I have experience in building foundational skills in phonics, reading/writing, math and science for grades K-3. Since 2021 I have been in and out of elementary classrooms aiding teachers with supplementary instruction. For multiple years I volunteered as a Summer School aide, learning the science behind reading and the best practices to teach grades K-3 skills to set them up for success! In addition to being familiar with reading/writing/phonics standards I have led small groups in math instruction. Overall, I will be able to adapt and help with any elementary education needs as well as ensure that your student feels confident with themselves and their work!
