About Avery

I'd describe my personality as energetic, creative, and reliable. I like working with kids because they make me laugh and they have so much joy. As an education major (in my third year of college), I love helping kids navigate new situations and handle emotions. I started working with kids when I was 14. I volunteered at church helping with preschool and nursery. At 16, I began babysitting and have continued to do so here and there ever since. In my spare time, I like to sing, play guitar, color, crochet/knit, do puzzles, read, and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is I'm big on family! I have grown up with younger siblings and lots of little cousins who I have helped take care of throughout the years. My skills include time management, empathy, and thoughtfulness.
