About Avery

I have always had a passion for working with children. That's why I decided to study Middle Childhood Education at Ohio University. I've been babysitting consistently for the past four years, and it's been incredibly rewarding to be a positive presence in the lives of children. I would describe myself as patient, dependable, and warm. I love creating a calm, positive environment for children. I am empathetic, a good listener, organized, and flexible. I am someone who cares, is easy to talk to, and genuinely enjoys helping children feel supported and seen. I am going into my senior year at Ohio University, majoring in Middle Childhood Education! I am in Pi Beta Phi sorority at OU and our philanthropy in helping child illiteracy! I enjoy playing various games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning.
