I have over 5 years of experience in childcare, including 1 year as a full-time nanny and pod leader to 4 kids aged 5-8y/o during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, I assisted the children with their homework, managed their school schedules, and organized engaging extracurricular activities. I enjoy working with kids and believe that a balance of education and fun activities helps them become well-rounded and successful individuals. Avery nannied for my two kids for about a year when they were 5 and 7, during the pandemic. She got them to the online classes, ran the school day schedule, and took them outside to the playground every day. She is a super talented nanny -- she made great connections with the kids, had fun with them, but still expected good behavior and was able to redirect them or give consequences when needed. Fortunately our school reopened and the kids when back, but it we ever had need for another nanny, I'd rehire her again in a heartbeat.
