About Avery

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development, which motivated me to become a childcare provider. With eight years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, I have a deep understanding of child development and the importance of providing a nurturing environment. My patient demeanor , coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children and make learning fun and engaging. I believe in open communication with parents, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular text or phone calls. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I prioritize fostering a positive and respectful relationship with the children in my care. I understand each child is different and therefore so are their needs. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at a time and enjoy a variety of activities, including outdoor adventures as well as intentional educational activities.
