Hi there! I'm currently studying Speech Language Pathology at Texas State Round Rock. I have a passion for disability-inclusion work, and familiarity with an array of diagnosis & needs. In the past 2 years, I have accumulated 100 hours of volunteer work serving adults with special needs & 500 hours working as a camp counselor for adults with special needs. I also have clinical aiding experience in a Speech Therapy clinic, and in childcare at an after school program for 6-8-year-olds. While I have loved working with all children, caring for children and adults with special needs is definitely my passion. Having a family member with an intellectual disability, I have gained an appreciation for the importance of empathy and consistency within in the special needs community and hope to reflect that in my care.
