About Avery

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, engaged, and patient. I like working with kids because of their youthful outlook on life. It gives me a chance to be more creative and open to seeing things differently. I'm looking for a job that can provide minimum 35hrs and a schedule that can work around my class schedule in the fall. I started working with kids when I was 16. I was a babysitter for eight and a nanny for two families. I have work with ages 2-12 and one little girl who had special needs. In my spare time, I like hiking, yoga, art, and reading. I like to stay busy and on my feet for most of my free time. One thing you should know about me is that I am devoted to every family I nanny for. I will show up for every important milestone and whenever the family needs me. My skills include: i'm a good listener, I'm creative by bringing new games and ideas to the table, and I keep the kids engaged.
