About Avery

I have experience as a nanny to infants, a pre-K teacher, and a substitute for pre-K to high school age students. I have a lot of fun taking care of kids and like to interact with them and provide entertainment, such as arts and crafts, board games, watching their choice of TV shows/movies(as long as TV time is okay with the parents), etc., rather than just sitting on my phone until the parents get back. (I will always make sure to have everything cleaned back up and put away after any activities/games). I can also handle "conflict-resolution between siblings well without overstepping disciplinary boundaries by neutralizing situations as opposed to punishing children that aren't even my own. I also make sure to take record of any specific instructions, allergies, etc. given by the parents.
