Hello! I just finished my degree in sociology at The George Washington University in DC, and have moved back to the area. I am looking for a position as a nanny or caregiver! I have plenty of experience working with children as a summer camp counselor, a tutor, a babysitter, and a brief position as a nanny. I am CPR and first aid certified, and I also have experience as a lifeguard. I myself have low-support needs autism. Most of my research in university focused on disability justice and the disabled community. I have worked with disabled children in my camp counselor and tutoring positions, as well as assisting in caring who my grandfather who has been quadriplegic since before I was born. I am very passionate about human rights and social justice, and for me disability justice is a big part of that. I would love to be a part in making individuals who are a part of the disabled community feel supported and empowered!
