About Ava

I'm a highly motivated and experienced childcare provider with a strong desire to make a positive impact on children's lives. I am an older sister to a little sister and brother, have experience with childcare for all ages, and have experience with childcare of children with special needs and disabilities. My patient, calm, and creative personality allows me to connect with children easily and create a positive and engaging learning environment. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and am committed to keeping you informed about your child's day and any issues that may arise. I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules to ensure consistency and respect for your family's values. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, make-believe, and educational games. I have an associate's degree and am currently pursuing my bachelor's in nursing at UT Austin. I have worked as a lifeguard for the City of Austin.
