About Ava

I am the oldest daughter with three younger brothers which has equipped me perfectly for childcare. With five years of paid childcare experience I have developed many engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth but can also follow parents specific wishes for care. Through entertaining, teaching, and playing with children I enjoy getting to know each child individually and catering to their specific needs. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in being fully transparent and open. I provide verbal updates at pickup time and follow their preferred communication method to address any concerns or share daily highlights. I am comfortable enforcing household rules while prioritizing the well-being and happiness of the children in my care. I embrace the opportunity to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. My commitment to safety is reflected in my First Aid and CPR training.
