About Ava

My name is Ava. I grew up on Long Island and attended Portledge School in Locust Valley. I now will be a sophomore in the fall at the University of South Carolina. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, sympathetic, and eager. I like working with kids because I'm able to enjoy a special bond with them. I love to make kids smile and enjoy activities such as going to the park, doing crafts, and whatever else they aspire. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old. I've learned my love to work with and care for kids after always begging my mom to go to work with her to hangout with the children she teaches. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, go on hikes with my friends, and play sports. One thing you should know about me is that my family describes me as a person filled with patience. I am always willing to work through problems as they come, and I would say I handle things very carefully and thoroughly.
