About Avana

I am a caring and experienced childcare provider with a passion for children's growth and development. My 5+ years of experience have given me the skills and knowledge to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of all ages. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I am patient, calm, creative, and imaginative, and I am always looking for new and fun ways to engage children and help them learn. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, and I am always respectful of their wishes. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR, and I have completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development. I have also worked as a Board Certified Autism Technician for the last 2 years and have experience volunteering with the Special Olympics.
