About Ava

Hi there! My name is Ava, and I am an energetic and creative 26-year-old! I currently work for Costco, but have worked in childcare for many years now in both the school-system, as well as a nanny/ babysitter. I have worked as an after school assistant for over 5 years in the Ramona Unified School District, working with children ages 4 to 13 years old. My experience as a nanny/ babysitter spans over 5 years, working with children ages 6 months and up! I have my own car, I am pediatric CPR certified, and have taken courses in child development/ child psychology. My focus is giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful human being! I really enjoy doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent play, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I consider myself firm, but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time, I enjoy hiking, doing yoga, and going to the movies!
