About Ava

Hey there! My name is Ava, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Vermont where I studied Human Development & Family Science and Nutrition & Food Science. Last year, I worked at a nonprofit organization where I taught elementary and middle school kids hands-on cooking lessons, making healthy meals and educating students on how to make informed food choices to promote lifelong healthy habits. I have experience working with children ages 0-14. As a HDFS major, I understand the importance of incorporating learning into play through montessori techniques, games, and crafts. I love animals, being outdoors, cooking, and am very active with lots of energy to keep up with the little ones!
