Hello! My name is Avalyn, and I'm thrilled to bring my passion for working with children to Care. com. With 4 years of hands-on experience, I've had the pleasure of taking care of little ones from as young as 1 month to 8 years old. Currently, I'm a teacher at a daycare/preschool in Salem. I am also currently attending Western Oregon University as a returning Sophomore this year with a major of Criminal Justice and Psychology with an early education focus. I am CPR certified, Level 2 in ORO, have my own transportation, hold a Food Handler's card, and great with pets too! I provide very hands on care with children and love every second of it! Although I love my current work position, I would love to become a nanny to have a little more time than currently to focus on my education as well! I also would love to pick up random shifts when I can around classes and work!
