About Ava

I'm an educator at heart and thrive in environments where I can help children learn and grow. I have two years of experience providing childcare, and I'm known for my patience, creativity, and friendly demeanor. I believe in open communication with parents and will always follow their preferred method of contact. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules while still maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including educational games, board games and puzzles, and outdoor sports and physical games. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, occasionally 4. I have experience with children of all ages, from toddlers to preteens. I have some college education, I am currently attending Eastern Michigan University. I am fluent in English. I also have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am CPR and First Aid certified.
