I have years of experience working with kids with autism and special needs. I attend FAU full time with a major in psychology, going for my masters in Special Ed. I'm still not sure which career I want, ABA, behavioral therapist, speech therapist. Since I was 14 I knew I wanted to work in that field for the rest of my life. I've always had a passion and love for caring and assisting kids with special intellectual and physical abilities. My twin brother was recently diagnosed with autism so this makes it extra close to my heart. I have some experience babysitting kids with autism but would love to gain more! I am extremely patient and understanding as you have to be with these kids more so. I won't just let them sit on their iPad the whole time, as they need enriching activities and boosts of independence. Along with school I have a part time job, so I cannot promise to commit to a schedule, but if your child and I connect I wouldn't be able to stay away!
