About Ava

I'd describe my personality as responsible, down to earth, and patient I like working with kids because it's a very rewarding job. I enjoy watching them grow and gain confidence over time. I'm looking for a job that has me working with kids ages 1-6. I can cook, clean, and help with homework if your child is in elementary school. I started working with kids when I was 13. I had a few babysitting gigs every now and then and would really enjoy connecting with the kids. Now I work with children 2-5 at the daycare located at my current college campus. This helps me immensely with being able to communicate with children. One thing families should know about me is that I am a very patient and understanding person. I'm trustworthy, kind, responsible, and exactly the kind of person you can depend on. My skills include deescalating tantrums, practicing calming techniques with children as well as communication. Unfortunately, I cannot drive currently due to recent medical struggles.
