About Ava

I love kids and worked as a babysitter throughout high school and a child mentor in college. As a babysitter, I've consistently provided a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. As a Discovery Days mentor at Canyon Grove Academy, I worked closely with elementary aged children in class room and field trip settings. In both roles, I have used open communication and worked closely with parents to ensure their child's needs are met and exceeded. I'm known for my patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and friendly nature, which allows me to connect easily with children. I'm skilled at enforcing household rules while maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere. I love outdoor activities, educational games, imaginative play, and art. I'm confident in my ability to provide exceptional childcare. I have some college education and am comfortable caring for children of all ages. I grew up in a big family, so the more the merrier.
