About Ava

Hi I'm Ava! My childcare experience began in my early teen years when I started babysitting close friends and neighbors. Since then, I have had various babysitting jobs from one time date night outings to routine after school care. I have worked as a behavior technician with children with autism spectrum disorder, an elementary school child care aide, and a daycare teacher. I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University where I have earned my Bachelor's of Science in psychology and juvenile justice. I am currently in graduate school at Wayne State University pursuing a Master's of Social Work to become a children and family therapist! Some more things about me is that I love arts and crafts, baking, reading books, listening to music, doing my hair and makeup, spending time with the people I love, and enjoying the little things in life. I am SO excited to hear from you and eventually meet you and your families! :)
