About Ava

I'm a dedicated childcare provider with 4+ years of experience, babysitting on and off since 2019. I've also been a summer head camp counselor at the Peggy Notebaert Museum for two years and work with children in schools during college. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, making it easy to build strong connections with kids and create a fun, safe environment. I enjoy playing games like tag, hide-and-seek, board games, and child-led play. I love helping kids gain confidence in reading by making it enjoyable for them. I provide written daily reports and verbal updates at pickup, following parents' preferred communication style. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, can assist with light housekeeping, provide transportation to activities, and supervise swimming at beaches and pools. I drive a Volkswagen Beetle. I'll be graduating with degrees in Neuroscience and English, and I'm excited to offer quality, engaging care! I will be available starting May 21st to July 31st!
