About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts. During the school year, I am located in the Orono, Maine area. During the afternoons, I am a toddler teacher at a local daycare! I am a Child Development and Family Relations major, with a concentration in Early Childhood professionalism. I have worked with children ages 6 weeks-12 years, and am comfortable with anything! I am knowledgeable on activities to support fine/gross motor skills, math, science, and language skills, and arts and crafts! I am comfortable following rigid schedules or routines, or doing the exact opposite! I also have countless experiences in dog/cat sitting, and would be more than comfortable to take on some of those duties as well if needed! I love watching children actively learn about the world around them, and I enjoy being a participant in helping them grow! Children are the future of our world, and their proper development and care is so important to me!
