About Ava

As an elementary education major, I am passionate about helping children learn and grow. My patient, friendly, and approachable nature helps create a nurturing environment where kids feel safe and loved. I follow the preferred communication method of parents to ensure they're well-informed about their child's day and any issues. Regarding household rules, I align with the parents' lead, understanding the importance of consistency in a child's life. From outdoor sports and educational games to technology-based activities, I enjoy engaging children in a variety of fun and enriching experiences. I have spent ample time in elementary school classrooms, giving me experience with many different children. I have a car, no driving violations, and am happy to provide transportation! I am home for the summer from Mizzou and would love to help families during summer break!
