Hi there, I provided Senior in home care for my patients while working at Home Instead Senior Care out of Dubuque/Dyersville Iowa for about 1 1/2. COVID-19 hit and I was let go due to a drop in clients. I really loved taking care of my patients and listening to them tell me their life stories and everything they've seen and experienced in this world that is so different to us now. I managed their medicines, small cleaning, bathrooms, laundry etc, and helping bathing, dressing, etc. also filling out daily documentation logs of their day and what I've done for them. I also ran errands for/with them to post office, grocery stores for personal needs. I also had a weekly lunch date with a particular client and his wife I would drive them too.
