About Autumn

I like working with kids because they provide such a bright light into all of our lives! I started working with kids when I was very young. I grew up helping raise my little sister who I learned to take care of at a young age. I also have an autistic brother who is the same age as my little sister (11 currently). I was able to attend classes on atypical children and how to better understand how they feel and more. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes and stay active! I'm a nature person! I also am a full time college student, so when I do have free time I'm usually studying in the library and doing homework. One thing you should know about me is I'm very cautious and safe. Growing up watching over two younger siblings I have stuck to a saying, "when in doubt, take the safe route!" I will never put anyone's child in any position to be unsafe or hurt. I am also CPR and First Aid certified through Red Cross.
