About Autumn

Passionate about childcare! I was a nanny to two great children aged 4-10 and was responsible for making them meals, taking them on outings and helping with school work. As a nursery teacher for 6w - 2y I was in charge of several littles. Keeping them safe, entertained, helping them learn brought me a lot of joy. I spent most of my time in the infant room where I, with another teacher, cared for eight babies for 10 hours a day. Alone, it was not uncommon for me to care for up to 4 infants. I pride myself in being able to manage that. I do not believe in sticking a young mind in front of an iPad all day. Learning should be physical and fun! Coloring, reading, matching, singing, exploring... I have my own car and am comfortable transporting children. I am also comfortable with pets including large dogs. I have some college education in Early Childhood Education, but did not finish. From my teaching job I have training in CPR and took many courses on safe childcare.
