My creative and friendly nature allows me to connect easily with children, making their time in my care enjoyable and educational. I especially love the infant stages and supporting new parents! Snuggling babies is my absolute joy! Child-rearing styles are deeply personal and as a care-provider I will honor your requests when it comes to your preferred methods of care giving and communication. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. That said, my personal experience and style are attachment parenting with a deeply nurturing nature. A bit about me: -mother of 3 (adopted and biological) ages 13, 14 and 16 with 40+ hours parenting classes -married 20 years -experience with NICU, critical care/medically fragile, some special needs -pay dependent on distance, number of kids, expected tasks, payroll or cash, etc.

There are not adequate stars nor words to accurately rate Autumn as a nanny, in short, I would highly recommend and hire her immediately. She’s has all of the qualities you would look for in helping care for in your favorite little humans- she’s trustworthy, dependable and on time, has excellent communication skills, very bright, understanding, does what is asked of her and more, compassionate and is amazing with kids (experience with a 0-5 year old for us) all while going above and beyond what is expected in her role. When I had to go back to work full time with my then 3 month old, we were very nervous to find a stranger to care for our newborn….We were fortunate to find and hire Autumn, and upon meeting her, we immediately felt at ease with her down to earth, open nature and depth of experience (not to mention she has raised some pretty amazing kids of her own). She was great to work with, followed all of our wishes, helped around the house and I never thought twice about leaving our infant with her, knowing that our infant was being cared for like her own. It was really such a breath of fresh air in feeling at ease leaving our baby with her. Close to a year later, our child was diagnosed with cancer and she was very supportive of us while remaining reliable (when our schedules were difficult with medical appointments and illness), always open and honest about everything keeping our child’s health a priority and was one of the only people (at times the only one) that we were able to trust to help care for our sick child throughout the years of treatment. Looking back on that time, I honestly don’t know how we could have gotten through it with a shred of sanity without her help and true care navigating impossible situations and difficult medical demands. Now that our kid is in school, Autumn is still one of our kiddo’s favorite people in the world, as well as mine. If you’re looking for help with your kids, there is nothing more important than finding the right person for the job, and there no one better at the job than Autumn!
