My professional tutoring career began at Kumon where I worked as an Early Learners Teacher. I worked there for 9 months, and then I ventured out and started by own tutoring service. My service provided each student with their own plan to ensure their success. I had 8 students in grades K-6. Each of my clients improved their reading skills by at least one level and all became proficient in their grade level math skills, if not past their grade level for math. I am an education major at Norfolk State and I am very familiar with Maryland Schools' curriculums. My goal is to instill academic confidence in all my students and give parents/ guardians peace of mind.
