I have 5 years of experience. I can help with Light Housekeeping and Laundry. I grew up the oldest of five kids and was responsible for keeping them entertained and cooking dinner. Since I was young, I have always love to cook and bake. It was also a fun way to keep the kids engaged and not on their screens. After I turned 12, I began working with a family friend as a mother's helper and then became a babysitter. I have always been complimented on the creative activities that I come up with. Some favorites have been decorating Christmas cookies, making fairy houses with things found in nature, leaf printing with chalk and games like kickball and uno. I think it is important to develop bonds with the kids I am looking after to gain their trust and respect. Kids have an easier time following rules when they are able to believe that I have good intentions by enforcing them. Parents have consistently pointed out that their home is cleaner than it was once they get home.
