About Austin

Hi there! I've been tutoring math since seventh grade, starting as a volunteer helping out the grade below me. I've worked with students of all ages-from fifth graders learning basic math to college students tackling higher-level courses. I've even taught adults! I've taken a lot of math over the years, including earning 5s on the AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics exams in high school. In college, I continued with calculus and physics and even thought about majoring in physics before deciding to graduate early. What I love most about tutoring is helping students feel confident. There's nothing better than seeing someone's face light up when they finally understand a tricky concept we've been working on. Most people think you're either a math/science person or a writing/reading person, but I've always loved both. That said, I really miss math and would love to help you out while getting my math fix.
