With 15 years of childcare experience, including 3 years as a preschool teacher & experience as a clinical mental health counselor for children, adolescents, & adults since 2022, I bring a compassionate & nurturing approach to caregiving. I am trained in childhood development & trauma-informed care, which helps me maintain a supportive environment. I prioritize clear communication with parents, adjusting my approach based on family preferences. I've provided verbal & written reports at the end of the day as a preschool teacher, progress notes & parent meetings as a therapist, & text updates on an hourly basis when caring for infants. I am comfortable enforcing household rules & routines, always respecting parents' wishes to ensure consistency. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of balance, responsibility, & maintaining a positive caregiving environment.
