About Austin

I am a dedicated tutor with a background in assisting young learners. My tutoring journey began with volunteering in afterschool programs, where I helped children complete their homework assignments and reinforced their understanding of various subjects. I have also tutored my cousins, who were diagnosed with dyslexia, developing personalized strategies to support their unique learning challenges. This has honed my skills in patience, and communication. My siblings were homeschooled, and on the days I cared for them, I followed their school schedule to ensure continuity in their education. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of different teaching methods and the importance of a structured learning environment. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and engaging learning experience that fosters academic success and confidence in my students.
