About Auna

I am a compassionate, patient, energetic, creative person with 8 years of experience as a nanny. I have been teaching music for 0-5-year-olds in the classroom for 19 years, and I am looking for a part time nanny job to supplement my teaching schedule. My other classroom experience includes teaching Parent & Baby activity classes, Baby Sign Language, art and yoga; and, I taught Elementary school music for 12 years. In my opinion, children are the most important people in the world. I prioritize physical and emotional safety and I am a believer in positive discipline and play based learning. As a nanny and educator I strive to empower children to be confident in their own freewill while still being respectful and honoring those around them. My passions include social justice, reading, yoga and hiking.
