I am bubbly, patient, encouraging, funny & genuine. I enjoy caring for seniors because they are wise, fun... and relevant! I'm looking to assist an individual by providing companionship; conversation; laughter; meal prep; light housework & activities that the person enjoys. I began caring for seniors 7 years ago, when my own father had a stroke and was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Now, senior companion care is my joyful career. The majority of my spare time is spent with family and close friends... live music, cooking, conversations on travel, current events & history are some of my favorites! One thing you should know about me is that you and your family member are not just an hourly wage. You hold value within your own life, and certainly mine. I am highly adept at providing emotional support and social interaction with seniors. Additionally, I'm skilled with those that require mild to moderate memory care and excel in planning & executing activities, etc. with seniors
