I've worked with Special needs children in class rooms and in a home setting. I worked with three younger children who all had mild learning disabilities, I was able to provide them with a safe space to learn and communicate efficiently. I also have worked with two individuals with severe autism that were non-verbal. I would take them out of the house to safely explore their passions such as swimming, train watching, and nature walks. I'm passionate about creating a space around those with special needs that is comforting and engaging for them.
