Hi! ! I am a WA state certified teacher with a passion for education. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know my students by creating relationships, & environments they find comfortable, inviting, productive, safe, & happy. As the world around us changes, so do our learners. There is much need for individualized instruction to help bridge the gap between a tradition school system & the creative & engaged learners our world has fostered. My style of teaching puts individual student needs, & their experiences in the real world, as a factor in how they are able to learn. Keeping students' individual needs first has allowed me to have a constructive & engaging rapport with students & parents in the 15+ years I have been an educator. In addition to math & science, I have a passion for art! I love to find ways to be creative daily. When not teaching, I am riding my bike, going on hikes, and enjoying all the great things the PNW has to offer. How can I help your learner?
