About Audrey

I have just completed my BFA in Fine Art at the Cooper Union, where I was exposed to a wide array of contemporary and historical perspectives on art. I also had a rigorous foundational education in artistic techniques including oil, egg tempera, and acrylic painting, casting and mold making, traditional lithography and screenprinting, fabric sculptural construction, figure and life drawing, welding and carpentry, and some digital design techniques. My own practice comprises of oil painting, and this is my specialty as a tutor. I recently taught oil painting to a class of over 20 high school students, and developed a syllabus that covered the history and science of the medium. I absolutely loved helping students who felt stuck, bored, and unsure of where to go wirh their work. It was a joy to help them unfold their self-doubt and hesitation and watch their artistic identity come to thrive.
